Your information. Your choices. A clear guide to how we handle personal data.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Who we are
STEPOVER is an animated football universe. This notice explains how we handle information when you browse our website, sign up for partnership and investment updates, or contact us.
Data controller: LUCMIL LTD, the operator of STEPOVER. Privacy contact: lucmil@lucmil.com. Correspondence address: [to be confirmed].
2. Information we handle
- Information you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and the content of your enquiry.
- Technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, which may include your IP address, browser, device information, requested pages and access times.
- Information processed by external services when your browser loads their resources or you choose to watch embedded content.
You do not need to create an account to browse the website. Please do not send sensitive information or personal details about children in general enquiries.
3. Why we use information
- To respond to enquiries: we use the contact details and message you provide. Our basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions and managing relationships; where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, those steps may be the relevant basis.
- To operate and secure the website: technical information is used for our legitimate interest in delivering content, maintaining reliability and preventing misuse.
- To meet legal obligations: we may retain or disclose relevant information where the law requires it.
With your consent, LUCMIL LTD uses your email address solely to send STEPOVER partnership and investment updates. At present, this list is not used for general STEPOVER news or unrelated marketing. Our lawful basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting lucmil@lucmil.com or using the unsubscribe option provided in an update. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
4. Service providers and external content
Webflow provides our website hosting and email signup form. At present, signup information is collected and stored through Webflow only; no separate email marketing platform is connected. Submissions include your email address, consent choice and submission details. [Confirm which authorised people can access submissions and whether form-notification emails are enabled.] Google Fonts receives technical information when fonts are requested.
The full-film player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain and loads when you choose to open the film. YouTube may process device and viewing information when the player loads or you interact with it. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no data is processed.
External websites and platforms handle information under their own policies. See Webflow’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy. Information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful.
5. International transfers and retention
Some providers operate outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer takes place, it must be covered by an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can contact us for details of the safeguards relevant to your information.
Signup information is kept while needed to provide the requested updates, until you withdraw consent or the programme ends. [Confirm maximum retention or inactivity review interval.] On withdrawal we stop updates and remove your address from the active list. A minimal suppression record may be retained to respect your opt-out. [Confirm retention for consent evidence, suppression records, enquiries and provider logs.]
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular situation. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Contact the privacy address above to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or to your local data-protection authority where applicable.
7. Children and families
STEPOVER is made for football fans and families. Young visitors should ask a parent or guardian before contacting us or sharing personal information. Parents or guardians who have questions about a child’s information can contact us using the details above.
